We’ve seen the transformation hundreds of  times – people with mental health diagnoses like us who came full of doubt and uncertainty become secure in the knowledge of their rightful place in the world.

The change may start slowly– in a sculpture or watercolor class or by participation in groups, perhaps – but once it begins, the good works, shared experiences, time spent together – all bring us closer to our highest calling, the dreams we once had or the new ones we are inspired to have to make our lives better individually and together in community.

We are a clean and sober mental health community center that welcomes all people diagnosed with mental health issues like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or depression.  We also welcome all addicts and alcoholics as addiction in all it's forms is a mental health issue.

We also have a strong contingent of people who define themselves as "psychiatric survivors".  Some of us support MindFreedom, some support NAMI, some of us are on

medication, some off meds, some compliant and some are revolutionaries.

We are a diverse bunch of folks and we welcome newcomers.
